Research Guidelines

The International Journal of Science, Strategic Management, and Technology (IJSMT) is committed to the highest standards of academic integrity and publication quality.
These guidelines ensure that all submitted manuscripts align with our mission to advance knowledge at the intersection of Science, Management, and Technology.
1. Scope and Accepted Submissions
IJSMT welcomes original, high-quality research that addresses theoretical and practical issues within the journal’s scope. We particularly encourage interdisciplinary submissions bridging Science, Technology, and Management.

We Accept:

  • Original Research Articles: Full-length papers presenting novel findings.
  • Review Papers: Comprehensive and critical surveys of existing literature.
  • Case Studies: Real-world problem analyses and applied solutions.
  • Conceptual / Theoretical Papers: Articles proposing new models or frameworks.
2. Ethical Research and Publication
IJSMT strictly adheres to international research ethics, including COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.
  • Honesty and Transparency: Research must be conducted responsibly and reported accurately.
  • Ethical Clearance: Studies involving human or animal subjects must have appropriate approvals.
  • Plagiarism Policy: Similarity above 10–15% (excluding references) may lead to rejection.
  • Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial or personal conflicts.
3. Manuscript Preparation
Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise English and strictly follow the structural requirements below:

ORCID ID (if available).
AbstractSingle paragraph (150–250 words) summarizing objectives, methodology,
key results, and conclusions. Include 4–6 keywords.
Main TextIntroduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results & Discussion,
and Conclusion.
ReferencesMust follow APA (7th Edition) or IEEE citation style consistently.
Figures / TablesNumbered consecutively and submitted in high resolution
(minimum 300 DPI).
4. Submission Process and Review
Manuscripts must be submitted electronically in .doc / .docx format.
IJSMT follows a double-blind peer review process.
  • Initial editorial screening for scope and compliance.
  • Review by at least two independent expert reviewers.
  • Typical review timeline: 3–6 days.
  • Final editorial decision rests with the Editorial Board.
5. Authorship and Copyright
All authors must have made a significant intellectual contribution.
IJSMT operates under an Open Access model. Authors retain copyright,
and articles are distributed under the
Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license.
