Abstract

Lumi is a digital companion designed to assist Alzheimer's patients and older adults by providing a suite of features that improve daily life and enhance safety. Utilizing modern technologies such as React Native, Flask, MongoDB, and AI-based recognition models, Lumi offers functionalities including face and object detection, location tracking, and reminder notifications. This project aims to provide a user-friendly solution that fosters independence and security while easing the burden on caregivers. The results demonstrate a significant improvement in user experience and efficiency in assisting individuals with memory-related challenges.
