FINGERPRINT-BASED EMPLOYEE ATTENDANCE SYSTEM
This paper presents an automated biometric attendance and room allocation system developed using an Arduino microcontroller and a fingerprint sensor. The system is designed to identify faculty members through fingerprint verification, ensuring a reliable and secure method of authentication. By using biometric data, the system eliminates common issues such as manual errors and proxy attendance, which are often found in traditional attendance systems.
Once the fingerprint is successfully verified, the system automatically assigns a room based on data stored in a predefined main Excel sheet. This database contains essential details such as employee IDs, serial numbers, and corresponding room allocations. The integration of this database allows for quick retrieval and accurate mapping of information without human intervention
