Abstract

This study investigates the anti-diabetic potential of ethanolic extract of Tecoma stans roots using experimental animal models. Diabetes mellitus is a major global health concern characterized by chronic hyperglycemia and oxidative stress. The present work evaluates biochemical, antioxidant, and histopathological parameters to validate traditional claims. The extract demonstrated significant hypoglycemic activity, reduction in oxidative stress markers, and improvement in antioxidant enzyme levels. These findings support its potential as a natural therapeutic agent. This study investigates the anti-diabetic potential of ethanolic extract of Tecoma stans roots using experimental animal models.
