A STUDY ON LOGISTICS SERVICES QUALITY IN FREIGHT FORWARDING ON SOUTHERN FREIGHT CARRIERS
This study examines the effectiveness of logistics services in the freight forwarding sector, with a particular focus on Southern Freight Carriers Pvt. Ltd., located in Trichy. It evaluates how key service factors such as dependability, accuracy in documentation, cargo protection, and communication affect both operational performance and customer satisfaction. Adopting a descriptive research design, data was gathered from 205 participants and analyzed using statistical techniques including percentage analysis, chi-square tests, and correlation analysis to uncover significant trends. The findings reveal a strong positive link between logistics practices and performance outcomes. The research concludes by offering practical recommendations to enhance logistics service standards, which are essential for maintaining competitiveness and ensuring customer loyalty in the freight forwarding industry.
