A STUDY ON SERVICE QUALITY OF SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT IN SCOTTS GARMENTS LTD
In the increasingly dynamic and competitive landscape of garment manufacturing, the role of service quality in supply chain management has become a critical factor for business success. This study focuses on Scotts Garments Ltd., a leading apparel exporter in India, to examine how service quality affects supply chain performance. The research assesses various dimensions such as delivery efficiency, responsiveness to demand changes, inventory management, communication flow, and technological adoption. Primary data was collected from 100 respondents using structured questionnaires and analyzed through statistical tools. Results indicate that while the organization shows strength in fulfilling delivery commitments and maintaining customer satisfaction, it faces challenges in inventory control and internal coordination. The study highlights the importance of technological integration, workforce training, and collaborative supplier relationships as key strategies to improve overall service quality and operational effectiveness
