Abstract

In the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, supply chain efficiency is a critical determinant of organizational success. This research paper presents an in-depth analytical study of the supply chain management (SCM) practices and distribution channel strategies of Britannia Industries in the Pune region. The study evaluates procurement, production, inventory management, logistics, and distribution efficiency using both qualitative and analytical approaches. It identifies key operational challenges such as demand variability, inventory imbalance, and transportation inefficiencies. The research concludes with strategic recommendations emphasizing digital transformation, data-driven decision-making, and supply chain optimization
