Abstract
Nanotechnology, the manipulation of matter at the nanoscale, holds transformative potential across various sectors, including medicine, manufacturing, and environmental management. However, its rapid development raises critical societal considerations. This paper explores the ethical implications, risk assessment challenges, and the role of standardization in nanotechnology. By examining these facets, we aim to provide a comprehensive understanding of how nanotechnology can be developed responsibly and sustainably
