All articles published in IJSMT are assigned permanent Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) through Crossref. DOI registration ensures persistent identification and reliable citation of published works, while associated metadata is deposited with Crossref to support discoverability, reference linking, and long-term scholarly communication.

Digital Preservation Measures

To safeguard its digital content, IJSMT follows a structured preservation approach that includes the following measures:

• Journal content is hosted on secure digital infrastructure supported by routine system maintenance and monitoring.
• Regular backups of published articles, databases, and metadata are performed and stored in separate locations to reduce the risk of data loss.
• Articles are preserved in standard, widely accepted digital formats to ensure long-term accessibility and technological compatibility.

Scholarly Record and Content Integrity

IJSMT considers all published material to form part of the permanent scholarly record. Once published, articles are not altered or removed, except in cases of correction, retraction, or editorial notice, which are carried out in accordance with accepted publication ethics. Any post-publication changes are clearly documented, and the original publication record remains accessible through its DOI.

Continuity of Access

In the event of platform migration, website restructuring, or changes in journal management, IJSMT ensures continuity of access by retaining all published content, metadata, and DOI links. Necessary technical measures are taken to prevent disruption to readers, authors, and indexing services.
