For Authors

The International Journal of Science, Strategic Management and Technology (IJSMT) publishes original scholarly work that contributes to theoretical, empirical, and applied research in science, strategic management, and technology-related disciplines. This section outlines essential information for authors regarding submission, review, publication, and post-publication responsibilities.

Scope and Suitability of Submissions

IJSMT accepts manuscripts that demonstrate academic rigor, methodological soundness, and relevance to the journal’s thematic focus. Submissions should present original research, critical reviews, or well-structured theoretical analyses that advance existing knowledge. Manuscripts that fall outside the journal’s stated scope or fail to meet scholarly standards may be declined prior to peer review.

Submission Requirements

Authors are required to submit manuscripts in accordance with the journal’s prescribed format and guidelines. Submissions must be original and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. All authors listed on a manuscript should have made a substantive academic contribution to the work and must approve the final version prior to submission.

Any use of third-party material must be appropriately cited, and authors are responsible for securing necessary permissions where applicable.

Peer Review and Editorial Process

All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening to assess scope alignment, originality, and compliance with submission requirements. Manuscripts that pass this stage are subjected to a peer-review process conducted by subject experts. Editorial decisions are based solely on academic merit, clarity, and contribution to the field.

The journal reserves the right to request revisions, reject manuscripts that do not meet required standards, or withdraw submissions that violate ethical or procedural policies.

Publication Ethics and Integrity

IJSMT adheres to established ethical standards in scholarly publishing. Authors are expected to uphold academic integrity and avoid practices such as plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, and inappropriate authorship attribution. Manuscripts may be screened using similarity detection tools as part of the editorial process.

Any conflicts of interest, funding sources, or relevant disclosures must be clearly stated at the time of submission.

Open Access and Copyright

IJSMT operates under a full open access publishing model. All published articles are freely available online without access restrictions. Authors retain copyright of their work, and articles are published under the license specified by the journal at the time of publication.

By submitting a manuscript, authors grant the journal the right to publish, distribute, and archive the work while maintaining proper attribution to the authors.

Article Processing Charges (if applicable)

Information regarding article processing charges (APCs), waivers, or exemptions is clearly stated on the journal website. The presence or absence of APCs does not influence editorial or peer-review decisions.

(If you currently charge APCs but don’t state them clearly elsewhere, this section is non-negotiable.)

Digital Preservation and Indexing

All published articles are assigned Crossref Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs), ensuring permanent identification and reliable citation. The journal implements digital preservation measures to safeguard published content and maintain long-term accessibility.

Post-Publication Responsibilities

Authors are responsible for promptly notifying the journal of any significant errors identified after publication. Corrections, retractions, or editorial notices are handled in accordance with journal policy to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.
