For Institutions
Institutional Collaboration – International Journal of Science, Strategic Management and Technology (IJSMT)
The International Journal of Science, Strategic Management and Technology (IJSMT) engages with academic institutions, research centers, professional bodies, and scholarly organizations to support the dissemination, validation, and long-term accessibility of research outputs. This section provides institutional stakeholders with information relevant to academic collaboration, conference publishing, and research dissemination practices.
Institutional Engagement and Academic Alignment
IJSMT collaborates with institutions whose academic objectives align with the journal’s disciplinary scope and publishing standards. Institutional engagement is conducted within a framework that emphasizes scholarly integrity, transparency, and editorial independence. Collaboration does not influence editorial decisions, peer-review outcomes, or publication ethics.
Institutions may engage with the journal for research dissemination, academic visibility, and scholarly communication support, subject to compliance with the journal’s policies and standards.
Conference and Seminar Collaborations
IJSMT considers collaborations with academic institutions and scholarly organizations for the publication of selected conference, seminar, and symposium outputs. Such collaborations are evaluated on academic merit, thematic relevance, and organizational credibility.
Conference collaboration may include:
• Publication of peer-reviewed conference papers as special issues or proceedings
• Assignment of Crossref Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to accepted papers
• Editorial and peer-review oversight in accordance with journal standards
All conference submissions undergo editorial screening and peer review. Acceptance for conference presentation does not guarantee journal publication. The journal retains full editorial authority over selection, review, and publication decisions.
Editorial and Governance Independence
IJSMT maintains a clear separation between institutional collaboration and editorial governance. Institutional partners do not participate in editorial decision-making, reviewer selection, or acceptance determinations. This separation safeguards academic independence and protects the integrity of the scholarly record.
Access, Licensing, and Distribution
All content published through institutional or conference collaboration is made available under the journal’s open access model. Published works remain freely accessible online without subscription or embargo. Authors retain copyright, and licensing terms are clearly stated within each published article.
Institutions may link to, archive, and reference published content in institutional repositories, library catalogues, and academic portals in accordance with the applicable license.
Digital Preservation and Metadata Management
All published articles, including those arising from institutional collaborations, are assigned Crossref DOIs and supported by standardized metadata to ensure persistent identification and long-term discoverability. The journal implements digital preservation measures to maintain access continuity in the event of platform migration or technical disruption.
Institutional Responsibilities
Institutions engaging with IJSMT are expected to:
• Ensure academic integrity of submitted content
• Facilitate adherence to ethical research and publication standards
• Cooperate with editorial and review processes as required
Failure to meet these expectations may result in suspension or termination of collaboration.
Policy Transparency and Review
IJSMT maintains publicly accessible policies governing institutional collaboration, open access, digital preservation, and publication ethics. These policies are periodically reviewed to align with evolving academic publishing standards and institutional expectations.
