2. How We Use Your Information
Your personal data is used exclusively to support the core functions of the journal:
  • Publication Management: Processing manuscripts, managing the double-blind peer review process, and publishing accepted articles.
  • Communication: Sending notifications related to submissions, reviews, revisions, acceptance decisions, and new issue announcements.
  • Identification and Attribution: Publishing author name, affiliation, and ORCID iD alongside articles for proper scholarly credit and discoverability.
  • Journal Improvement: Analyzing website usage to enhance performance, services, and content quality.
  • Open Access License: Limited use of contact details (primarily email) for communications related to the Creative Commons license under which your work is published.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
IJSMT follows a strict policy of not selling or renting personal data to third parties. Data is shared only under the following necessary circumstances:
  • Publication: Author names, affiliations, and ORCID iDs appear publicly on published articles.
  • Indexing and Archiving: Article metadata may be shared with services such as Google Scholar and Crossref for indexing, discoverability, and long-term preservation.
  • Peer Review: Manuscript content is shared with reviewers under a double-blind review system. Author and reviewer identities remain concealed.
