These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website and publication services provided by the International Journal of Science, Strategic Management and Technology (IJSMT). By accessing the website, submitting a manuscript, or engaging with any journal-related activity, users agree to comply with these terms in full. IJSMT reserves the right to modify or update these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the journal’s website or services constitutes acceptance of any changes made.

2. Ownership and Use of Content

All published articles, research papers, and related materials on the IJSMT website are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Authors retain the copyright of their work but grant IJSMT an irrevocable license to publish, archive, and distribute the content in print and digital formats. Unless otherwise stated, articles are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) License, which allows use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.

3. Manuscript Submission and Review

Authors submitting manuscripts to IJSMT confirm that their work is original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere. The submission must be free from plagiarism and data falsification. All manuscripts are subject to a structured double-blind peer review process. The Editorial Board holds the final authority to accept, reject, or request revisions to any manuscript. IJSMT does not guarantee publication upon submission.

4. Publication Charges

Accepted articles are subject to an Article Processing Fee (APF) as communicated to the corresponding author upon acceptance. The fee covers editorial processing, DOI registration, indexing, and digital archiving. Payments made are non-refundable once the publication process has commenced. Any discrepancies or issues regarding payment must be addressed to the journal administration before final publication.

5. Ethical Standards and Misconduct

IJSMT follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines for maintaining ethical publication practices. Authors must ensure accuracy, originality, and proper acknowledgment of all sources. Any instance of plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, or redundant publication will result in rejection or retraction of the article. The journal reserves the right to blacklist authors involved in unethical practices.

6. Plagiarism and Similarity Policy

All submissions are screened through plagiarism detection tools prior to review. A similarity index exceeding the permissible limit (normally 10–15%) may lead to immediate rejection or return for correction. IJSMT strictly prohibits duplicate submissions and unethical reuse of content.

7. Withdrawal, Retraction, and Correction Policy

Authors may request withdrawal of their manuscripts in writing before publication. Once an article is published, retractions or corrections will only be made in cases of proven ethical misconduct, plagiarism, or serious error. IJSMT reserves the right to remove or retract published material without refund or prior notice if violations are identified post-publication.

8. Open Access Policy

IJSMT operates under an open-access publishing model, allowing unrestricted access to all published content. Readers are permitted to read, download, share, and distribute articles for non-commercial purposes, provided the source is properly credited. No prior permission is required from the publisher or authors for legitimate academic use.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

The journal respects the privacy of all users, authors, and reviewers. Personal information such as names, affiliations, and contact details submitted during the publication process will be used solely for editorial and administrative purposes. IJSMT will not disclose personal data to third parties without explicit consent, except as required by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

While IJSMT strives to ensure the accuracy and reliability of published information, it does not guarantee completeness or freedom from errors. The opinions and findings expressed in articles are those of the authors and do not represent the views of the journal or publisher. IJSMT shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect loss, damages, or claims resulting from the use of published materials or website content.

11. Website Use and Restrictions

Users agree to use the IJSMT website for lawful and academic purposes only. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or modification of website materials is strictly prohibited. The publisher reserves the right to restrict or terminate access to users who violate these terms or misuse journal resources.
