Abstract

Plant-based healing systems have been an integral part of human healthcare for centuries, particularly in countries such as India where traditional medical systems like Ayurveda, Unani, and Siddha are deeply rooted in cultural practice. A significant proportion of the global population continues to rely on medicinal plants for wellness, disease prevention, and complementary healthcare [1]. Despite their widespread use, plant-based healing practices often lack systematic organization, standardized safety guidelines, and evidence-based integration with modern scientific research [2].
