Abstract
Biodiversity is key of survival and maintenance of food web and food chain of the flora and fauna. In another words we can say that biodiversity is life support system of living being. Proper maintenance of biodiversity is a key for survival of life on earth. Each animal is linked with another through either food chain or food web. Recently proposed by different ichthyologist and newer edition of the book roughly estimated that huge number of fishes are described recently and the number grown around 32000 to 34000 of recognized and well described fish species globally. Fishes are prominent source of proteins and minerals for humans. In present study we have validated that 43 different species are occurred in Sai River of Jaunpur. Physico-chemical parameters as like TDS, DO and CO2 measured throughout the year.
