Abstract
ESG investing is influencing decisions in India as investors consider environmental responsibility, social performance, corporate governance, sustainability, and financial returns together. This study examines Indian ESG investment trends, investor awareness, ESG products, factors affecting investment choices, risk and return benefits, regulatory support, and satisfaction. Primary and secondary data are used, with responses from 100 investors selected through convenience sampling. Percentage analysis is applied to interpret the responses. The findings indicate growing awareness, preference for ESG mutual funds, perceptions of environmental, social, and governance factors, and satisfaction. The study recommends investor awareness, transparent ESG disclosures, better reporting standards, and investment education.
