Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic significantly changed global retail investment by accelerating e-commerce, digital transformation, automation, contactless payments, and customer-focused business models. This study examines global investment trends in the retail sector after COVID-19, focusing on investment preferences, decision drivers, technology, challenges, and sustainability. Primary and secondary data were used, with responses from 100 participants knowledgeable about retail and investment activities. Percentage analysis was applied to interpret the findings. Results indicate strong preference for e-commerce, digital transformation, omnichannel strategies, technology adoption, and sustainable practices. Inflation and supply-chain disruption remain important constraints, while digital capability and innovation support future global investment growth opportunities.
