Abstract
Portfolio diversification is a fundamental investment strategy that enables investors to reduce risk by allocating investments across different asset classes, sectors, and financial instruments. The rapid growth of digital investment platforms has made diversification more accessible, allowing investors to manage portfolios efficiently while pursuing long-term financial objectives. This study examines the portfolio diversification strategies adopted by investors using the Groww platform. It focuses on investor awareness of diversification, asset allocation patterns, risk management practices, and the influence of diversification on portfolio performance. The study also evaluates the factors affecting investment decisions and the role of diversified portfolios in minimizing investment risk and enhancing return stability. A descriptive research design was adopted using primary and secondary data collected from 100 Groww investors through a structured questionnaire. The findings indicate that investors recognize the importance of diversification in reducing market risk, improving portfolio stability, and achieving sustainable financial growth. The study concludes that portfolio diversification remains an effective investment strategy, and digital investment platforms such as Groww play a significant role in promoting informed investment decisions and long-term wealth creation.
