Abstract
Dividend policy is an important financial decision that determines the distribution of profits between shareholders and retained earnings for future growth. This study analyses the dividend policies of Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea by examining dividend payout practices, profitability, earnings retention, shareholder wealth, and corporate financial performance. A descriptive research design was adopted using primary and secondary data collected from 100 respondents through a structured questionnaire. Multiple Linear Regression Analysis was used to evaluate the influence of dividend policy factors on shareholder value and financial performance. The findings indicate that an effective dividend policy strengthens investor confidence, improves shareholder wealth, and supports long-term corporate growth.
